BROKEN PRAYER - Misanthropocentric AKA Droid's Blood CS
Chicago’s Broken Prayer burst onto the scene in 2013 with one of the freshest and most original sounds in the punk scene, combining full-bore hardcore, jittery synth-punk, and a dark pop sensibility into a blend that, while not exactly seamless, is nothing if not distinctive. Two years later and they’ve delivered a follow-up record that proves they’re still one of the most exciting bands around, embracing originality, modernity, and earnestness where so many bands are content with a detached and ironic retro sensibility. Stylistically, Misanthropocentric continues along the lines of the first LP but pushes at the boundaries of the band’s sound, making the hard parts harder, the noisy parts noisier, and the catchy parts even catchier. Through the din Scott Plant’s brilliant lyrics remain the centerpiece; I can’t think of a single other current punk lyricist who can be so direct and blunt without ever descending into cliche. As you can probably tell, I think quite a lot of Misanthropocentric, and if you’re the kind of listener who is both musically adventurous and a committed punk lifer I think you will too.

Fast paced hardcore out of Jakarta Indonesia. Real similar to 80s Californian punk like Circle Jerks or TSOL. Probably even a nod to Career Suicide.

Three fresh cuts of loud punk rock from Richmond’s best new export, THE TERMINAL FIVE. Four SLUGZ members kept together after the group disbanded, resulting in a new rock’n’roll unit designed to flat out destroy. On 3x5, THE TERMINAL FIVE zero in on a sound that draws from the best 70's punk, applying a solid appreciation for the powerful songwriting and playing present on degenerate rock records like Killer and Raw Power. With the recent addition of Jarrett from SATAN’S SATYRS on guitar, THE TERMINAL FIVE are already hard at work on a proper album. Tapes come professionally duplicated and printed for best results.

PRODUCT - First Wave of Death Funk CS
Obsessing over the rhythms of heroes Isaac Hayes, Curtis Mayfield and Funkadelic, Product twists these ideas into unrecognisable form, deconstructed and delivered through howling shrieks. Ultra simplistic in its form, FWODF is focused entirely on its own rhythm, devoid of excess, it is primal and hypnotic.
Recorded in 3 hours in a jewel vault by T. Hasemann and mastered by M. Young, FWODF captures the very birth of a band.

This split 12" is named like Hardcore Radikal LatinoAmerica and it completely reflects this title in both bands who are Maquina Muerta from Mexico who are currently located in Barcelona, Spain and peruvian DHK (Destruye Huye Krea). Maquina Muerta, including Bernat from Orden Mundial on guitar is really well done spanish version of Discharge, I wouldnt say its fast paced, more rather middle tempo with d-beat drums (a bit faster though than you might think about) punk structure of the songs similar to Hear Nothing LP, with simply but pretty energetic and catchy guitar riffs, I'm sure lots of you might hear some MG-15 influences as well, but yeah thats pretty obvious, isnt it? As for the DHK they sound way more different from Maquina, rawer and more primitive with firm South American feel, would think like Anti-Cimex (Raped Ass and Victims of the Bombraid era) played more primitive way haha! Locos !!!
