Straightjacket Nation live from 2006. You know what to expect, '80s Boston hardcore worship but with some more cutting rather than gruff vocals. This recording is great, raw but certainly well done. Not blown out beyond recognition like a lot of live recordings, this would even be worthy as a studio effort. Alongside the CHEAP KICKS LP and the S/T 7" this is mandatory for any Australian hardcore fan. One of the best in modern Melbourne hardcore. And (aside from the fact that this was originally released as a cassette in very limited numbers) the first Straightjacket release in almost four years!
